James and Travis first met as cherished members of Company Wayne McGregor, where they contributed to acclaimed works like AutoBiography and Atomos. Their exceptional performances graced prestigious venues worldwide, including Sadler's Wells and the Bolshoi, alongside esteemed institutions like the Palais Garnier and Royal Ballet.

Their creative partnership blossomed with their duet, Splinter The Noise, for the Royal Ballet's Draft Works, which caught the attention of influential figures, including Dame Monica Mason, who encouraged them to pursue their artistic ambitions.

After leaving Company Wayne McGregor in 2019, they quickly gained international acclaim, presenting over 20 works across global theatres and festivals, such as The New National Theatre of Tokyo and Teatro Grande in Brescia. They made history as the first international artists to present contemporary dance at the Cerulean Tower Noh Theatre in Tokyo.

Their November 2022 premiere of IMAGO, their first full-length duet, was met with rave five-star reviews, leading to their appointment as Associate Artists with Dance DANCEHAUSpiù in Milan.
